Weekly Blog:

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.

Proverbs 3:5

"Trusting God in the Middle of the Storm."

"It is so easy to trust God when everything is goin well. How do you react in the middle of a storm"?

"I have been doing a great searching of heart lately. I want my life to be a reflection of Jesus in everything I do. In this time of searching my heart the Lord has allowed things to surface. They are areas that I have pushed down and pushed down".

"Have you ever walked on the beach right after a storm? Did you notice how much stuff ends up on the beach? It is funny how even the ocean takes things that are laying on the bottom to rise and spill out on the shore".

"The same is true with our lives. God will not allow us to bury or hide things in our heart. It could be old habits or fears. It could be areas of addictions, or it may even be areas of selfishness".

"God wants us to hide the Word in our hearts. He wants to develop our character. He wants to teach us how to let go of life's hurts and learn how to trust Him for every detail of our lives".

"The second part of Proverbs 3:5 says In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths".

"That is powerful. Not only can we trust God, but we have the assurance of His Word that if we lean on Him and look to Him, He shall direct us. It's not just that He is willing to direct us. His Word declares "HE SHALL".

"Trust God. He is there for you, in the middle of whatever the storm may be that you are going through. God is leading and guiding you in all truth by The Holy Spirit. He will see you through"

DEAR DAUGHTER!

When wisdom enters your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to your soul, discretion will preserve you; understanding will keep you.

Your answer is found in Proverbs 2:10-11

You asked the question is on-line dating from God? I can only say that I know of people who have had very bad experiences and I also know of someone who has had a successful relationship where she met someone through e-harmony on line.

The Holy Spirit is your guide. He is the one who leads us and guides us. The internet can be very dangerous or useful. Use discretion. Do not allow your lonliness to make you vulnerable. Trust God, He is able to bring the perfect mate to you. If you go looking on your own you may just wind up with a Frankenstein.
