We are a friendly family church that is dedicated to reaching your family as well as families around the world. We are a very stable local church who reaches out to the City of Gardner and other countries around the world. Our 2 top floors are opened each Monday to the kids & youth of this city.
We are a born again people enjoying the water baptized, Spirit filled life. The Bible is our only text book, and we are hooked up to our Pastors Jonathan and Katie Kamenski.
We really love Jesus, and we love to sing to Him. We have fallen in love with the altars, as the Lord meets us there so often.
We welcome and adopt all peoples of the world. It makes no difference to us their roots, financial status, education level, or anything else. Most people comment on how fast they were accepted and how well they fit in here at HGM.
Our ministry began back in 1984 in Pastor Kerry & Ginny Twing’s living room with 4 people gathered for a bible study. From there the ministry grew and after renting several locations, we found our home here on Central Street in Gardner, Massachusetts. After 25 years of pioneering this ministry, the founding Pastor stepped into heaven unexpectedly at the young age of 55. Our Pastors Jonathan & Katie picked up where their Dad left off and continue to this day to blaze ahead by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Pastor Jonathan and Katie have been involved in the ministry from a very young age and have over 30 years of experience. They have completed Bible training from Supernatural Ministries Training Institute (SMTI) out of Midland, MI. They have been ordained ministers under the covering of Dr. Mark T Barclay since 2011 and are committed to reaching out to those in our community, to not only help those in need but to equip believers to walk in the fullness of God's plan for their lives.
They are an anointed couple with a passion for preaching the entire Word of God, "from cover to cover." They have been happily married 25 years and have 2 amazing daughters, Jessica & Carly.
Kid's Ministry
At our church, kids aren’t just the future—they’re a vital part of our church family right now. Our kids programs are designed to be fun, safe, and full of life while helping children grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Each week, kids experience engaging Bible lessons, worship, hands-on activities, and meaningful conversations that help them understand God’s love in a way that makes sense for their age. Our heart is to partner with parents to build a strong foundation of faith that lasts beyond Sunday. We believe church should be a place kids love to come to—where they feel known, valued, and excited to learn about God.
What parents can expect:
- Biblical truth taught in a fun and engaging way
- A place where kids can grow spiritually and make friends
- We offer classes for children ages 1-12 during our Sunday services and ages 1-5 during our Tuesday services.
- Your kids will be cared for by background-checked volunteers.
- On the first Sunday of every month, all children stay in the sanctuary for the full service. We believe it’s important for kids to know they are a valued part of the church family and for families to have the opportunity to worship together.
- Activity bags are available to help keep little hands busy, and the nursery remains open as a quiet space for parents who need it.
- We also offer a private room for nursing mothers with a TV, so you don't miss the service!
